Sharper Labs Group Ltd is a UK-based company specialising in HR, Legal, Marketing, Academy, and Technology solutions. We are seeking talented professionals in Sri Lanka to join our team and work with a UK-based firm.
As part of our growth, we are expanding our development team and are looking for a highly experienced Senior Web Developer to work remotely. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for a talented professional who is driven, reliable, and able to deliver consistent results against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications.
- Translate business requirements into clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Legal, IT, Marketing, Academy) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Explore opportunities for mobile development and integration of AI-driven solutions.
- Report regularly on deliverables and meet agreed KPIs.

What We're Looking For
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Web Developer (senior/lead role preferred).
- Strong proficiency in modern frameworks and technologies, including:
- Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue
- Backend: Node.js, PHP, or Python
- CMS & Frameworks: WordPress and Laravel
- Excellent knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with mobile application development (iOS/Android, Flutter, or React Native preferred).
- Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, or machine learning frameworks to enhance applications.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud-based deployment (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
