Job Description

Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, attracting top talent, and supporting the organization’s workforce growth. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to ensure a smooth hiring process while complying with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements
  • Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms (online job portals, social media, company website)
  • Source candidates using multiple channels, including LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and databases
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate records in the ATS/HR system
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications as required
  • Assist in negotiating offers and preparing employment contracts
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and improve candidate experience

What We're Looking For
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English; Sinhala/Tamil is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of recruitment strategies and sourcing tools
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR software
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Basic understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws related to employment and hiring


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with digital recruitment platforms and social media sourcing
