Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, attracting top talent, and supporting the organization’s workforce growth. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to ensure a smooth hiring process while complying with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements
- Develop and post job advertisements on relevant platforms (online job portals, social media, company website)
- Source candidates using multiple channels, including LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and databases
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate records in the ATS/HR system
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications as required
- Assist in negotiating offers and preparing employment contracts
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with Sri Lankan labour laws and company policies
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and improve candidate experience

What We're Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English; Sinhala/Tamil is an advantage)
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies and sourcing tools
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- Basic understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws related to employment and hiring
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Familiarity with digital recruitment platforms and social media sourcing
